1 Inch tapes (often Agfa- or BASF tapes) are known for their tendency to clog video heads or even stick to the head unit or sound head. This causes the tapes to tear or to damage the video heads.
Due to our intensive research, we are capable of regenerating and digitising even those 1-inch tapes that TV stations have labelled as completely irreparable. Consequently, Cinedoc has managed to save programmes originally believed to be irrecoverably lost.
